New Tack has the skills, experience and personnel to deliver an end-to-end solution (from concept to post event analysis) for our clients.
We have developed the following approach to our service delivery options which can be taken as a package, or in isolation:
Event Consultancy:
New Tack Consulting will assist our client to conduct a review of the feasibility of a new event, or to review the feasibility to further develop an existing event into a public event. Following are examples of the specific services provided by New Tack in this role:
- Develop the Event Budget (or review an existing), which will detail all known expenses (and predicted expenses)
- The expense budget will be used to develop the Income Models required to make the event financially viable and provide a return on the investment of the client, with reference to viable levels of income that may be generated from competitor fees)
- Develop the business modelling for the operation of a public focused event alongside the successful regatta elements
- Develop a hierarchy of key stakeholders and develop an engagement strategy for each stakeholder
Event Design:
New Tack Consulting will assist our client to create a viable event design/program, including:
- Development of a detailed Event Schedule “Template”
- Review of suggested dates for the regatta and public activations
- Design all event theming for both on and off water aspects of the event
Sponsorship/Revenue Development:
The Commercial Rights arm of New Tack Consulting will assist our client to develop and acquire suitable revenue streams for the event, including:
- Develop Sponsorship Packages (including the sponsor benefits packages, e.g. Hospitality plans and Branding plans)
- Assist the client to source sponsors for the event and better leverage standing sponsors
- Identify and develop additional revenue streams for the event (e.g. Hospitality, Ticket Sales, Spectator Boats & Event Merchandise)
Pre & Post Event Management:
New Tack Consulting will carry out the pre & post Event Management activities for the event, in accordance with the agreed budgets. Event Management activities will include (but not limited to):
- Procurement, commissioning and post event review of all events goods and services, including;
- Media, Marketing & PR services
- Regatta Management services
- Hospitality & Venue services
- Event Infrastructure
- Entertainment
- Vessel Charter
- Event Staff
- Graphic Design & Website management
- Event Security & Logistics
- Development of all Event Manuals, including event policies, procedures, emergency and OH&S plans
- Preparation & submission on behalf of the client of any required event permits and post event reports for Government bodies (Local/State/Federal)
- Development of detailed event plans including, Entertainment Schedule, Regatta Schedule, Branding Plan, Bump-in & Bump-out schedules and Event Logistics planning
- Sponsor, VIP & Stakeholder management
- Vendor acquisition (e.g. F&B, merchandise, exhibitors)
Event Delivery & Operations:
New Tack Consulting will carry out the delivery of the event in line with the agreed event budgets. Event Delivery activities include (but not limited to):
- Event Bump-in & Bump out management
- Event schedule management
- Event Contractor management
- Event Sponsor, Stakeholder and VIP hosting
- Event Hospitality management
